For loosing his lawsuit over unpaid bonuses, former Barcelona FC winger and Paris Saint-Germain forward, Neymar, has been ordered to pay his former club £6.1million.
The Brazilian whizkid left the Spanish club for PSG in 2017 for a world record fee of £201m (€222m). However, the 28-year-old rued terms of his contract and alleged that the club owed him unpaid salaries and bonuses, for which he filed a lawsuit against his former Nou Camp Club a year earlier.
Barca confirmed in a statement on Friday, that Neymar’s claim to a £39.5m payment has been “fully dismissed” by the court ruling.
In the light of these, the possible move of the Brazilian back to his former club which fell through last summer, may never take place any time soon or in the future.
