Osinowo: Lagos Assembly To Hold Special Parliamentary Session on Tuesday

Speaker of the House Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa has revealed that the Lagos State House of Assembly will on Tuesday hold a special parliamentary session in honour of late Senator Adebayo Osinowo, who died on Monday, June 15, 2020, after a brief illness, during a condolence visit to the deceased senator’s immediate family at Molipa, Ijebu-Ode.

It would be recalled that Late Osinowo, was a member of Lagos House of Assembly for 16 consecutive years before moving to the senate.

The speaker extolled the sterling qualities and contributions of late Osinowo to the growth of Lagos House of Assembly in his 16 years as a member.

The Speaker said the family should take solace in the fact that the late senator was loved by many because of his benevolence and sacrifice.

He urged the family to choose a representative that would speak on behalf of the family at a special parliamentary session in honour of the deceased senator, on Tuesday, June 23, 2020.

The first son of the deceased, Dr. Tunde Osinowo, thanked the speaker and other members of his entourage for the kind condolence visit and promised that the family representative will be present on the day.
