NDDC MD, Pondei, Leaves Hospital

Professor Kemebradikumo Pondei, Acting Managing Director of The Niger Delta Development Commission has been discharged from the hopital after slumping during a hearing.

Pondei was rushed to a medical facility after he slowly slumped on his desk on Monday, July 20, while being asked questions by the House of Representatives committee on NDDC.

Speaker of the House of Representatives, informed the gathering after the NDDC boss was led out, that his doctor and some medical officials in the National Assembly were attending to him.

The incident was the number one trending topic on social media as Nigerians shared their thoughts on the issue.

Channels Television however broke the news that the acting managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Professor Kemebradikumo Pondei has been discharged from the hospital and is convalescing.
