In the coming days, the board of Fidelity Bank Plc is expected to submit the financial statements of the company to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
The lender gave this assurance in a statement issued to notify the investing public on the present state of the audited financial results of the firm for the period ended June 30, 2020.
In the notice, the mid-level lender said the earnings of the organisation should be made public on or before Saturday, August 29, 2020.
Already, the board has approved the audited financial status of the financial institution and the documents forwarded to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for scrutiny and approval.
After the apex bank is done with the documents, Fidelity Bank will then file results to the stock exchange and then made public to investors, analysts and others.
“Please refer to our press release dated June 30, 2020, wherein we notified the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) and the general public of the commencement of the audit of Fidelity Bank Plc’s 2020 half-year financial statements.
“Please be informed that the board of directors of Fidelity Bank at its meeting of August 13, 2020, approved the 2020 audited half-year financial statements, subject to the approval of the CBN.
“Pursuant to the above, please be informed that the bank shall notify the NSE and the general public upon receipt of the CBN’s approval for the 2020 audited half-year financial statements and expects to publish same on or before August 29, 2020,” the notice signed by the company secretary, Ezinwa Unuigboje, said.
