LASTMA DRAMA: Female Officer To Face Disciplinary Action For Assault On Passenger

In a tweet shared by the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency LASTMA, one of its female officers, who was captured on camera while physically assaulting a passenger at Aromire junction, off Awolowo Way, Ikeja on Friday September 11, and whose video became an internet sensation, is to face disciplinary action for her unruly conduct.

The unruly official is adjudged to have overreacted regardless of the circumstances and is expected at the headquarters of the agency on Monday, 14th September, for questioning and admonition for her shameful public conduct.

The said tweet, shared on LASTMA’s official Twitter handle read;

“This video was forwarded to the management and the officer has been invited for investigation and disciplinary action for misrepresenting the agency. The incident occurred at Aromire junction off Awolowo Way, Ikeja yesterday, Friday, 11th September.

“She is considered to have overreacted, regardless of the circumstances. She is expected at the headquarters on Monday, 14th September.”

It remains to be seen whether LASTMA’s purported hard stance on corruption is real or just a mere farce as the world waits for the outcome of the LASTMA Drama.
