A group of young and dynamic individuals under the auspices of Ogun –Lagos Border Towns, OGLABOT Initiative Team has congratulated their patron and political leader Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, fondly called GNI on his new appointment as the Chairman Ogun Free Trade Zone (OGUN GUNADONG) by Ogun State Governor, His Excellence, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
The need to revamp and upgrade development around such areas to enable them compete favourably as the commerce and industry gateway to the commercial nerve center of Nigeria, and also position the state for greater opportunities in the years to come, cannot be overemphasized.
In a statement signed by the group’s coordinator, Hon. Okeowo Oluwaseun Simeon said, “first of all we would like to congratulate you upon your appointment as the Chairman Ogun Free Trade Zone (OGUN GUNADONG). You have a strong mandate along with the support of OGLABOT Group as we are confident of your efforts in carrying out deep and comprehensive Free Trade Area reforms in order to make full use of the many opportunities the agreement will bring our citizens and businesses together while consolidating on the investment drive in line with the Gov. Dapo Abiodun led administration.
“With great accomplishments both in the Private and Public sectors from near zero revenue, the Ogun State Government generated revenue in excess of N1billion from investment management activities during GNI’s tenure in Gateway holdings, amongst other notable achievements. It is re-assuring that with Gboyega Nasir Isiaka’s new state assignment, he will provide efficient and dynamic world class infrastructural development, ensure security of lives and properties, whilst building an expanded economy to exceed the expectations of all stakeholders by prioritizing visible and real economic expansion, agriculture, industrialization, job creation and welfare with developmental projects within the Ogun State Free Trade Zone”, Hon. Okeowo Oluwaseun Simeon concludes.
